I like to sell a range of snacks when I'm entertaining, including mini-pizzas, tiny smokies and this impressive antipasto pack. It feeds an extensive crowd and can be tailored to your tastes! The best thing about this plate.

What is antipasto?

Antipasto has historically been known as the first Italian course of food and involves a range of cold foods, including cured meats , cheeses, olives and vegetables. Depending on what region of Italy you are, the quality of an antipasto offering can vary. Usually, this recipe is eaten as a family recipe instead of a past appetizer.

How do you make an antipasto platter?

Begin with the selection of the favorite cured meat, Italian cheese, pickled or roasted vegetables and olives. Arrange posts on a big dish. You may add tubers and spreads like bruschetta or tapenade of olive. Finally, add a variety of breadsticks or sliced focaccia options. Then serve and enjoy new grass.

Antipasto Platter ingredients

There is no wrong way to start a platter with an antipasto, here are some great options!

  • Meat: deliver a variety of curative meats, for example prosciutto, salami, pepperoni, sopressata and coppa. Prosciutto and mozzarella rolls can also be used to make a special twist.
  • Cheese: New mozzarella, gorgonzola, parmigiano, asiago or fontina are some great choices for cheese. In olive oil, cool plants and red pepper flakes, I love to marinate my mozzarella balls.
  • Vegetables: I like using a variety of fresh vegetables, roasting and pickling. Some of my favourites are roast red bell peppers, grilled eggplant, strawberry, strawberry pepper, grilled or marinated mushrooms, roasted tomatoes and garlic cloves and crudites like cucumber, plum tomatoes and carrots. If I can find them in the deli section, I also like to add a bowl of marinated beans.
  • Olives: I've visited the olive bar in my grocery store and purchased a range of green and black olives.
  • Bread: fresh bread choices such as baguettes, slices of ciabatta, rough breadsticks, crostini and flatbread can be included.
  • Extras: Combine items with odd additions such as nuts, figs and fresh fruits.

Make ahead directions

The best thing about this plate is that, before your visitors come here, you will be able to assemble it, cover it tightly and chill it out from the refrigerator. No more than 8 hours in advance, I suggest assembling your platter. With the exception of bread, it is more likely that anything will be added to the plate in the fridge. Remove the fridge from your plate approximately 20 minutes until you are preparing to serve.

This is a simple and enjoyable no-cook dressing appetite. This is a great addition to every event and tastes as good as it looks!
