- 1 (10 ounce) package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- Salt and pepper, to taste
In a large mixing bowl, combine the spinach, sour cream, mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, onion, garlic, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.
Mix well until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight, to allow the flavors to meld together.
Serve the dip chilled with crackers, bread or vegetables.
You can make some adjustments to the recipe according to your taste, for example you can add more or less cayenne pepper, or use other herbs like dill, chives, parsley. Also, you can use cream cheese instead of sour cream and mayonnaise for a richer taste.
