Gifts and gifts are good and while I say thank you, I say loudly in my head, "Yeah, I've got more crude now and there's no place to put it in my building!"No, cook for me if you're going to make me swoon. Make me Chocolate truffles if you don't know how to cook.

The truffles are the easiest candy to produce, cream, Chocolate and time to make something happily elegant, decadent and delicious.

Make sure you use Chocolate of high quality, and if you can find it, 62 percent or higher in the Chocolate and organic cream, because the quality will affect the end product.

How to Make Homemade Chocolate Truffles Recipe

  • Prep time: 10 minutes
  • Cook time: 15 minutes
  • Chilling and Rolling time: 2 hours, 20 minutes
  • Yield: Makes 30-40 Chocolate truffles  

Ingredients :

Basic truffle ingredients :

  •     8 ounces of semi-sweet or bittersweet Chocolate (high quality, 62% cacao or higher), well chopped into small pieces
  •     1/2 cup of heavy whipping cream
  •     1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

Optional base flavorings:

  •     Mint leaves (1 bunch, stems removed, chopped, about 1 cup)
  •     Cinnamon and cardamon (1 Cinnamon stick, 2 cardamom pods)
  •     Amaretto (1-2 tablespoons)
  •     Almond extract (1 teaspoon)

Truffle coatings :

  •     Cocoa Powder
  •     Finely chopped walnuts
  •     Finely chopped almonds

Method :

1 Heating cream: In a small heavy cup of heavy whipping cream, bring to a frying pan and mix (every couple of minutes mix and scrape down the sides with a spatula).

Stir in with the cream (and skip the coffee in the next step) if you use one of the suggested varieties. Remove from heat and let go for an hour while inserting mint or other solids after cream simmers. Then strain the solids and stir the cream into a frying pan and start using the recipe.

2 Make the foundation of candy: In a separate bowl placed the chocolate. Pour the milk over the Chocolate and apply the vanilla, then mix for a few minutes.  

3 Chill for 2 hours: allow to cool and put in the refrigerator for two hours. (This Chocolate base is called the ganache.)

4 Roll in balls and chill overnight: use a tea cubicle to roll ganache balls. Roll your hand quickly and place them on a baker's sheet filled with parchment paper, as it will melt from your sweat. Set overnight in the refrigerator.

5 Coca powder rolling: Serve or stow back in the refrigerator until needed in Cocoa Powder or in cut nuts.
